Stunning Zero-Edge Swimming Pool with Peninsula

Unique Zero-Edge Swimming Pool with Peninsula

There are several features that make this swimming pool unique. As pointed out by Bob Vila, there is a large peninsula in the middle of the pool that is zero-edge, so it looks completely flush with the water…which is stunning. The peninsula has large multi-trunk king palms that add to the tropical beach feel of this yard. In addition, the beach entry to the pool has several colors of mosaic tile and we moved tile pieces by hand to give the gradient of color as you walk from sand to deeper water. The back of the pool is a negative edge adding to the ocean-look of this pool. The cabana was constructed at the pool level with a zero-edge completely around it and the footings are inside the pool. The cabana has glass walls that can completely close and provide privacy for the spa, which also includes a large water feature.
