Natural Rock Pool

This natural rock pool has multiple rushing waterfalls, native rock, Pebble Tec finish and many other natural elements to make this desert-style pool the envy of the community.

The natural rock shoreline was built in tiers as steps into pool, utilizing a pocket in each tier to allow varying sized rocks and loose pebbles to stay in place. A line of flagstone separates the two colors of Pebble Tec, making the gentle slope of the drop-off seem deeper and much more dramatic.

As water rushes down the back of the vanishing edge, it flows over native boulders and gathers in numerous staggered basins, the largest of which contains natural pebbles and allows ample space for children to play. A beautiful waterfall feeds into the raised spa at the side of the pool. Another waterfall flows out of the spa into the pool, accenting a beautifully designed grotto complete with native stone carvings.

New landscape was added to further enhance the holistic desert scene, including cacti, various drought-resistant plants, weathered logs, natural rock selections and even animal bones. Two fire pits were built into rocks surround the pool, one at the spa and one at the other end of the pool near the vanishing edge.
