Mr. & Mrs. Mesa live in Vellano, which is a beautiful country club located in the city of Chino Hills. Everything on the Mesa residence is magnificent. The front yard, side yards, backyard, and landscape is top of the line. They have an elegant tuscany look to their entire yard.

The Mesa’s have a spectacular front courtyard and entry system. There is a water wall and pot fountain. Then if you keep walking you will go under the rod iron arbor to enter into the guest house and game room, but before you reach the guest house there is a sitting area, also called the conversation area. The conversation area has rod iron table and chairs to sit, relax, and enjoy the beautiful landscape. After passing the guest house there is a four hole putting green to catch up on those golf skills.

Then you enter the main backyard. Wow, it is gorgeous! Their entire backyard is facing the golf course. There are water jar fountains spilling into the pool, raised spa with stone cascade, two firebowls on the corners of the spa, and glass tile all around the pool. Behind the spa is the lanai with a fireplace, couches, flatscreen TV, speakers, and much more. Then there is another patio cover with an outdoor kitchen and flatscreen TV. The third patio cover has pillars and an arch patio cover that has tables, lounge chairs & couches. All along this patio cover is a misting system for those hot summer days. The Mesa’s landscape stands out with the additional queen palms, italian cypress’ and several olive trees.

Where do I start? The Escobar’s backyard is like going to a private water park. It really is…LOL! There is water everywhere. Water crashing from the ten foot high rock waterfall, water bubbling in the reef entry, and also water jets shooting up from the island and into the pool.

There is an enclosed spa that has a back entry door. The slide starts behind the rock waterfall and ends up on the side of the enclosed spa. Also, there is a seprate hide away cave by the beach island. There are two bridges to get to the island. The first bridge will take you to the center island that has a firepit and patio set. Then the second bridge will lead to the private little beach area and the hide away cave. Another cool feature is the lazy river that surrounds the island.

Splash Pools also built the free standing patio cover with a BBQ, refrigerator, seating area and also a swim up bar with four seats in the pool.

What can I say, the Escobars went all out. Their backyard is absolutely amazing!

Mr. & Mrs. Shanklin live in the beautiful private community of Vellano, in Chino Hills. Their backyard is the perfect size because everything is close together. Around the entire pool is flagstone boulders. One side of the pool has a loveseat around the rock bar table. On the opposite side of the table is a baja step. On the same side as the spa is a gorgeous flagstone waterfall that matches the pool perfectly. Another addition to the backyard is the pavers all throughout the backyard. Splash Pools also did the Shanklin’s landscape. There are additional planter pots in different areas throughout the backyard. The planter areas have F.X. low voltage lighting to light up the backyard in the evenings.

The other part of the Shanklin’s backyard, which is not seen in the pictures, is what makes their backayrd set apart from others. They have a puting green area for golfing, and a solid covered patio with a flatscreen tv, speakers, couches, fireplace and an iron door to close in case the wind picks up.

Coby and Diana have one of the most amazing backyards in Corona, Ca. Their pool is remarkable! There are many extra features throughout the backyard that makes the Klein pool stand out from the rest.

Lets first discuss the pool. First off the pool is elevated 6″. The plaster is called french grey, which gives a deeper blue water color. There are large square step pads that lead to the cabana that has water in between all the step pads. There is L.E.D lighting in the pool and in between all the step pads to give an illuminated effect. The pool has a large baja step for relaxing in the shallow water or even putting lounge chairs in to be able to get a tan. The pool has a salt water system, and wireless remote controls.

Next is the spa. The spa is raised 30″, which makes it stand out even more. There is stacked ledgerstone spillway out of the spa and cabana. There is one fire water bowl that spills into the spa. Around the top of the spa is seperate pour cantilever with color and washed finish.

The Cabana is the perfect place to go to after a long day at work. There are two very comfortable day beds to relax and take a quick nap. There is ledgerstone on all the raised bond beams and pilasters. There is a flat screen tv, speakers, ipod hook-ups, heater, misters, stained open beam ceilings, & smooth stucco walls.

To top off the Klein backyard is the lush tropical landscaping.  There are several beautiful full grown palm trees, additional accent pots all around the pool, and low voltage lighting all through the backyard. There are pavers throughout the entire backyard. As mentioned before, there are misters in the cabana and also around the pool area for those hot summer days in Corona.

In 2005, Splash Pools built Mr & Mrs. Wong’s pool. The Wong’s live in the city of Hacienda Heights. We did everything from their pool, spa, landscape, irrigation & also their low voltage lighting. The property has an existing retaining wall, but we were able to cover it up and make it look like the retaining wall is not even there. The entire pool is raised 12″. The loveseat that goes all around the front of the pool is perfect for family and friends to sit in the pool & relax on a hot summer day.  

Here is some more information about the Wong pool so you can get a better idea of how you would like your backyard to look. The Wong’s decided to upgrade to the double black mini tahoe blue pebble that makes the life expectancy longer, and the darker pebble will keep the water remaining warmer throughout the summer. There are six 5′ tall water features with 18″ spillways. And an additional two spillways off of 24″ raised bond beams. There is ledgerstone and tile in lays at the spillways. Also, there is flagstone all around the perimeter of the pool that makes the pool look that much better. And last but not least the landscaping and beautiful palm trees gives the finishing touch on the Wong pool.
